Suzanne Bracci, MS, LMHC, CAS is the Western New York Regional Director for CITRS, which she joined in January 2017. In this role, she will be overseeing and ensuring successful implementation of the Character Counts! character development initiative in the select Buffalo Public Schools from Pre-K through high schools. Suzanne desires to help build a culture of character within her community and has been instrumental in these efforts through her involvement in the Character Council of WNY; first as a Board of Director, then as the Vice President and currently as President of this 501c3 not-for-profit organization. Her work with CITRS and CharacterCounts! is an exciting advancement to the forward progress and impact of character education within the Western New York community.
Suzanne holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, a master’s degree in Counselor Education, and a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in school counseling from Canisius College. She holds a permanent NYS Certification in School Counseling and was a full time school counselor for 8 years. During that tenure, she became an award-winning educator receiving the 2014 Judy Silver Humane Educator of the Year award. Suzanne is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Certified Stress Management and Results Coach and has worked in school, agency, business, and private practice settings over the past 25 years, with most of those years dedicated to empowering people to be their best self and live healthier, more productive, meaningful, and fulfilling lives. She is also the owner of a private consulting and life coaching practice, Stress Management and Wellness Solutions, LLC.
