Back to School, with Character
As students head back to class, we’re reminded that the school year is about who our young people are becoming. Character shapes how students treat one another, how they handle challenges, and how they show up in their communities. It belongs in every part of the school day, and this month we’re proud to share some of the ways that is coming to life.
Character | Integrity | Trust | Relationships | Success

We partnered with Pitman, NJ schools to develop character-focused posters that will appear in every classroom across the district. The posters highlight their core values of Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect, and Tenacity, or H.E.A.R.T.

CITRS met with the Glassboro Character Council to map our character integration for the 2026-2027 school year. The central goal is for character to positively shape every aspect of a student’s school experience. We’re grateful for their commitment and can’t wait to see what this year brings!
