Nichelle Davis Ahmaddiya, Ed.D., M.S.Ed.

An accomplished education and nonprofit leader, Nichelle Davis Ahmaddiya has more than 25 years of experience in education, youth development, counseling, organizational leadership, and program development. As Chief Operating Officer of CITRS, she works across strategy, operations, school and district partnerships, program implementation, and organizational growth.

 

Nichelle holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University, where her research focused on K–8 teachers’ experiences using trauma-informed strategies. She also holds a master’s degree in Psychological Services/School Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Human Resource Management and Risk Management & Insurance.

 

Her areas of expertise include stakeholder engagement, professional learning, school climate, trauma-informed instruction, character education, grant writing, and program development. Her recent interests include exploring how character education can help young people maintain human agency, judgment, and values as they navigate artificial intelligence and social media.

 

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring diversity in cultures and faith traditions.
