2018 CITRS OPEN Golfers Support Character

September 19, 2018

Gladwyne, PA: Over 70 golfers came out in support of the 2018 CITRS OPEN on Wednesday, September 19th at the Philadelphia Country Club.

The day began with lunch on the pavilion. Guests were joined by a living statue, a turn-of-the-century golfer. Before golf commenced, the attendees enjoyed the golf ball drop, where nearly 500 balls were dropped from a helicopter onto a target on the 18th hole. Gary Williams, Executive Vice President of Axis Construction Management and Chairman of the Board for The Legacy Youth Tennis and Education was the lucky winner. CITRS appreciates his donation of the winnings back to CITRS to support the mission of developing character-centered environments, in which students thrive ethically, socially, and academically.
